What is the serial number on that H? My uncle has 641, the 140th made, and has 5 gears. On the 39, the shifting pattern is cast into the floor, right below the shifter. It wouldn't surprise me if 5th is locked out as Guy says, but there is a bolt you can remove to go into 5th. It makes me ponder, so please let me know before I hurt myself. Just kidding.
