I've never run one of the things, but my guess is that it would really give your little C a workout. I think the bad reputation of older IH balers was that parts would wear bad and there would be problems with the knotting mechanism or something.... It had something to do with stopping the production of a bale and tying it. I would try this one out to see how it works before you pump too much money into it. JD 14T's and 24T's are probably the most widely used old balers
