Matt, do you have an owners or operators manual for your H? If not, get one or both ASAP-they are invaluable to the new owner/operator. If your H has been setting a while, you will want to clean the fuel system. That's one of the easiest things that you can do to prevent future problems, as a dirty fuel system usually lead to all sorts of problems later. BTW, use lots of penetrating oil on the split sheeves on both the water pump and generator pulleys sheeves before you try to move them. Also check to make sure the fan pulley sheeve is not welded-lots of times they have been welded as someone let them run loose & they ruined the threads. The threaded front water pump sheeve is still available (>$50) but its a $400.00 job to put it on in the shop, so be careful not to break it. (Don't even ask how I know this.) Have fun w/your H, I have the '44 that I grew up on & my #1 son has the '44 that my Dad bought brand new in '45. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
