Most likely one or more pistons and rings are stuck to the bore/s. but maybe some of the valves are stuck in the guides too. Pull the valve cover, lever the rocker arms gently to see if the valves will move, if not, put some Kroil,etc. on the stems too. Because if it comes unstuck and the valves don't move, pushrods, and even rocker arms can be destoyed. I'd definitely get it freed up, and make every effort to hear it run,before the final alternative of a complete tear down. John in Nebr.
