Hi Tubba. Nice to hear from the other side. Yes, my 806 has a pipe plug in the filter housing. It is just that when you remove the pipe plug to drain the oil from the filter, there is hardly enough room to get a can under it and the oil drains all over the tractor frame creating a mess. It seems that just a one or two inch long pipe nipple would give it enough distance to clear the frame so the oil could drain directly into a can. After getting many good suggestions from this board, I am a little scared to put the pipe nipple in, though because I might break it off during some hard use. I use the tractor in the woods of Wisconsin and you never know when you might run up against something that could break it off. Could be disastrous. Maybe I'll fabricate some kind of trough that I can put in there to guide the oil over the frame during draining.
