No one should ever run a row crop, any make WF or NF with rear wheels set any less than 72" centres and 84 is better. The wide front end is only a false sence of security, by the time the stops on pivot of front axel make contact your gone anyway. This is what I always liked about duals, you get a tractor out to 10-11 feet outside and they will slide sideways before they will roll. My dad upset a Farmall H much as geneb describes, his rear wheels were set on 66 inch centres. I widened all my Farmalls to min 72 inch centres or dualed them. Those rear wheels are what keeps you upright. Just think about what you do on foot on steep slope or in the wind, you don't stand there with your legs together.
