Me and Red are board-buddies, so we know a bit about how each other thinks. My opinion is that Red's estimate is a mite low, based on two criteria. First, the OD transmission is a VERY sought after option, I've been looking for one for three years with no luck. Second, if I understand correctly that it has the original rear fenders, and they are straight, that is another big plus. Based on those two things, and assuming that the engine is in good shape, needing only minor things like the rocker arm tower (which I have a couple of, BTW) I'd guess more in the $1000-$1500 range, possibly more in some areas. Of course, this is just my opinion, and we all know what THEY are worth!
