I know that I can ask the guys at the paint store but I would rather hear from the guys that really do this type of work. I've never used hardener before. I understand that if you add hardener that you have to use all of the paint within a few hours. Is this true or falacy??????? Was thinking about giving the old Farmall one coat of just regular paint and then in about a day or so giving it another coat but this time adding hardner. Is this a good or bad idea????? Was hopeing to get the bright shine of a hardener and improve on the chipping problem of a hardener. I have to paint outside so don't have the best of conditions. Usually paint early in the day if there is no dew or late in the day after the wind dies down. Any HELP will really be appreciated.
