The Super A was the first "Super" model. Started building them in 1947 and full production in 1948. Early ones still had mag ignition, distributors became an option in I believe 1949. As already said, Super A has live hydraulics. That is the main advantage. A stock Super A engine is a 113 like an A, they didn't get the 123 until the Super A-1 in 1954. Super A implements are easier to find, and less clumsy to put on and take off, since there are no lift levers and springs to deal with. If you retrofit a fast-hitch on it from a 100 or newer tractor, you can use all the implements from a 100 on through the 140's. The A is a fine tractor but if I were going to do much work with implements I would want a Super A, assuming I could find one in as good a shape as my A! Al
