I just bought a 560 gasser a couple of months ago and like your's my fuel gauge doesn't work either. I used it bushhogging for 6 hours straight a couple of weeks back. I was curious as to how much it would burn...I started with a full tank and to my surprise only burned 15 gallons. The reason I know was I drove it straight to the filling station and filled it up afterwards. 2.5 gal/hr not as bad as I thought it would be for that old 6 cyl. Maybe I got the fuel economy model? HEH!
