W6 info

I just bought a W-6 tractor and looking at the tractor and the lift I see red paint and yellow paint still present on the tractor. The question I have is. Did International or McCormick Deering, paint their Industrial tractors a certain color or did they paint some Industrial tractors red and some yellow?
My W-6 is a 1948 and the serial numbers has a WI following the serial numbers. Is this tractor a Industrial or did someone have fun with the spray gun and a can of yellow paint? also the rims has an orange-ish color bleeding thru the rust. thanks for any info on this tractor that you can give me, I cannot find anything on this W-6 on the internet............later
