Filled her with gas and after about 4 revolutions she fired. What a great feeling! Months of work and $$$. To see and more appropiatly hear the fruits of your labor is fantastic! I wanted have her going by the round-up and I made it. Hope you all can make it to Penfield. I could use a couple suggestions though. Will a normal (12 volt) timing light work with my 6 volt system? Generator appears to be charging although I did not polarize. At half throttle it shows a slight discharge on low charge. On high charge I see about 5 amps charging. Normal or not? I rebuilt the carb and its at initial settings yet and running fine. Govoner control won't move all the way to high idle on the sawtooth plate. I'll need to read up and adjust accordingly.
