We are getting the 'rain train' today here by New Ulm. 3.4" so far, and one more cell training our way, looks bigger than the others... Had 5 inches or so already this month.... Hay? Got the alfalfa off, with rain on most of it. Haven't touched the grass hay yet, overripe now. Actually, most is in lower ground & along the ditch, maybe by August.... Corn & bean fields are a mess. Never could get in to cultivate yet, and no spray on the beans - weeds are about to swallow them... What is left of them, lots of open water out where the fileds used to be. Drove through water running over the highways this morning.... --->Paul
