Sounds like a 1939 Farmall B. A row crop tractor made to cultivate 2 rows at a time. Very popular with vegatable farmers & small farms. About 16 or so PTO horsepower. Made from 1939 to 1947. I think I read somewhere that around 75,000 were made. Has a lot of parts in common with a Farmall A & BN. Fairly easy to work on and get parts for. Not a lot of demand these days because of no factory hydraulics, but can be a handy tractor to have around for the right jobs. Very manuverable and easy to drive. In my area, a running B can bring anywhere from $600 to $2000 or so depending on condition and attachments.
