The dust shield I am referring to came on tractors to protect the fan pully from debris. It mounted up under the front of the engine frame rails with four bolts. The latter aged one has a hole for the drain for the radiator to poke through. I just pulled one off of a 1940 Farmall H that looks different. The dust shield is in the parts book. The one in the parts book has the two cutouts on either side. My older ones have no cutouts, or hole for the radiator drain. When I removed it, it had two full inches of old oil/dirt plastered on it.
