Kevin, I on my 1066, all the nuts are on the outside - on both sides of the tractor. If I remember correctly, the wedges come in from the back. The wedges have a square slot that the square head of the bolt sets in. Only the "finger" (for lack of a better word) of the wedge, and the threaded end of the bolt, come toward the outside of the tire. The biggest part of the wedge is on the in side of the wheel - nuts are on the outside of the wheel. Seems like I noticed (the last time I put a mounted tire back on) that the wedges could be installed on the outside - with the nuts on the inside. Maybe this is a way to adjust the tire spacing? I'm not sure. Hope I haven't confused you! - I nearly confused myself! Let me know what you find out. I'll look at mine when I get home and if I've told you wrong I'll post. Mitch Sisson
