I went through gas tank trouble with my 240 not too long ago. First I took it to a local radiator shop, they said they would dip it in the acid bath and then seal it. Sounded good, but they wanted $90. Too much for me, but if you don't mind paying, that's a good way to go. I just got some of that acid etch and sealer for about $40, and it worked pretty good.
