Resubmitting this as the first two responses didn"t check out.I have a restored cub. New pistons, bore, crank, the works.Runs ok. even the govoner works good.Problem is after it has beeen started and warms up it runs fine but when you cut it off it is hard to restart. will catch or hit on the first engagement of the starter enough to throw the starter out then will continiously crank without hitting again. If you release the starter and try again it will hit again and throw the starter out. Spark is ok and continuous. after several attempts it will start and run. I have checked and cleaned the carb a couple of times and seems to be ok. Points also.Any ideas. After hitting on engagementof starter and releaseing the continiouse cranking without without hitting conserns me. Seems this would be hard on the starter. Thanks.
