Dad mounted His 2M-E picker on His '51 M... picked about 200 acres of corn every year for 20 yrs... Tractor had the Super M kit in it, 264 CID... and He picked in Our hills in 2nd & 3rd gear pulling even the big 175 bu. wagons. If I had the choice I'd use the 400 over the Super M, but it'll probably be a little harder to mount/dismount the picker with the LPTO & TA levers. It was always spooky watching that picker swallow up the M as you mounted it!
