As stated in other replies, take the wires off, one at a time. With an indicating light or ammeter, you'll note if any of the circuits are drawing current. One item to note.. pin one of the alternator is used to excite the alternator. Be certain this connection is made *after* your ignition switch - else current will leak back through the alternator whenever the engine is not running. Finally, be sure the problem isn't the battery itself. It is possible that your battery simply won't hold a charge - or has an internal leak of it's own.
