Last night I decided to get the hand crank unstuck on my 41' M. It is rusted in place where it comes through the bolster right infront of the engine crank pulley. It is stuck good! I took the radiator out, heated it up, sprayed it down with WD-40, tapped it with a hammer then tried to move it with a prybar, repeat lots of times. I have been doing this just about every time I walk by the tractor. Well it moved, not much but when you use the prybar on the side I can see a little movement. I realy thought I'd have it done by now but this is a stubborn one. The hand crank does not work, when i enguage it and give it a turn, it just backs out. I'll bet someone tried to break it free this way and broke it. When I get this one out I'll go to my favorite bone yard and see if I can get a working one. Anyway I spent a nice evening tinkering on my old Iron instead of getting mad at the TV waching my tax dollars debate a word on the pledge of allegance! Jon
