Farmall 450 battery cable routing

I recenly bought a 450 Farmall and someone had moved the battery from the box under the seat to under the fuel tank. Will someone with a 450 tell me how to route the battery cable from the box to the starter selonoid? Does the cable lay on top of the trans housing without a cover??? Appreciate your help. Thanks
