Hi Mike,I do a lot of carb and mag repair on antique tractors, tractor pulling modification. On K5 & K6 Zenith you have to be real careful with the float. Bending the float to make float adjustment should be followed with a simple float test to see if you cracked the float in adjustment.Take the float and put in freezer overnight. Boil a clean pan of water get in good light ,I use a magnifing light. Take float out of freezer and submerge in boiling water the sudden change in temp plus the cold air inside float expanding will show you the defect in float if you have one. If you have to repair float e-mail me thats another story.Another caution is to make sure float isn't dragging on sides of bowl. I hardly ever bend a float any more. There are other ways to adjust. Remember these old floats are getting old just like there owners. Earl (Seamo) Seamands in Mahomet, Illinois
