I've got about 4 hours on my rebuild. Everything seems to be going ok. Got a little flutter(not quite a miss) at idle. adjusted carb and no smoke but didn't cure. Off idle it goes away but a slight hesitation when I crack the throttle (gov. control). Gotta get in and re-torque head nuts and check valve adjustments. Does that sound like the valve adjustments on one or more are off to you? I just adjusted the timing(turning the cap slightly) by ear. I don't quite understand the procedure in the IT manual. Someone have a better idea? Much better weather here in south central WI today. No humidity and 80. But we are AWFUL dry. tried to get my wife to do a rain dance, she just kind of rolled her eyes at me. See you at the RPRU!!!
