JBRATZ,there is no set torque,but you can torque the bolts according to the recomended torque for the strenght of the bolt, or start in the middle and tighten the bolts down evenly working in a circle,I've did two 1020 motor overhauls in the last year and I just tighten the bolts in three steps: set them all snuggly,then about 50lbs,then about 75lbs.It's not uncommon to find the head gasket leaking because the bolts weren't tight!!!
