I have a 1957 or 1957 or 1958 Farmall 440 4 cylinder. The other day I was bushing hoging I did'nt notice any change in the exhust but it starting using an excess amount of oil about 5 quarts cutting 6 acres I noticed in the engine a rod maybe? I have to fix this problem how do I go about fixing this.I would also like to replace the rings also can I do these repairs just by pulling the oil pan off or do I have to pull the head off also. If I can't do this myself what would be a fair price to have this done. Thank you . Ken Harris
