Zonie covered it very well. I think both tractors had about the same options. Although the M was considerably bigger, they were designed so that each could use many of the same implements. As a kid we had an H with a semi-mounted plow that would mount on either tractor. The M would simply pull it deeper and faster. I really can't tell the difference in the rear wheels, except as Zonie said the M had bigger axles, and the rim and corresponding tire would be somewhat wider. Both had 38 diameter rims, except in the 1st year of production (1939) when I believe the standard rim was 36 inches. Remember some of them came with steel wheels (lugs)and the lugs were often cut off and replaced with rims and rubber tires. Those wheels had spokes.
