Distributor Timing on C

I have re-installed the distributor on my C. I was just wondering where the timing mark should be when I shoot the timing light through the clutch inspection hole. I marked the TDC mark with a white crayon, and when I shoot it with the timing light, the light flashes when the mark is at about the 7 o'clock position on the flywheel. The tractor seems to be running fine, plenty of power and starts right up. Any advice?
