hmm...I had a 78hp 674 diesel which always seemed to be weak compared to my Massey Ferguson 168 which was rated at 68hp (Perkins diesel)Talking to other farmers, I get the impression that the 74 series tractor engines were not very thrilling to say the least when compared with say Perkins or John Deere engines of comaparable hp.
