i rebuilt the carb on my '52 cub, got it back on the tractor and it seems to work ok. no more gas dripping out of it anymore. during the rebuild, i took off the arm that connects to the choke rod, and i dont think i put it back on in the same place. the tractor runs really nice when i have the choke rod about .5 of the way pulled. so i think i need to move that arm to adjust the air flow. the question is, with the choke pushed all the way in, how much of an opening in the choke valve should there be? if the valve is open all the way, it will kill the engine. could there be something else wrong beside the choke causing this?
