My dad had an H and a Super H which I now have. He always stored the hand crank where Bob M said along the right side of the engine under the distributor inside the side rails. I always rode in that position. Sometimes on the Super H we used to put in in the cultivator mouting hole in the front of the tractor, but that wasn't a good place as it would swing around when you turned a corner and could be knocked out when you were going through weeds or tall corn. It was handy for cranking the tractor when the battery was weak. Roger
