Nice looking crop of wheat and obviously turning off as well as it looks. That is a red winter wheat from my view or am I wrong. I was talking with a local farmer this pm his white winter wheat is not doing so well,heads are short and he tells me kernels not filled well. We are just about a month now since any measurable amount of rain, in SW Ontario. Crops are hurting. Corn and Soybeans that had a canopy 2-3 weeks ago look not bad.
