Paint Codes and Decal Set for White 1950 Super A

Have a friend that is restoring his grandfathers 1950 Super A s/n FAA281767. We have determined that it is one of the all white promotional units. He'd like to paint it original color. I mess with old Cadets and know IH used a lot of different "whites". ANyone know what the proper paint code is for this unit? Can only find white decal sets. This wouldn't make a lot of sense to us (white on white) but if the tractor white was a dirty white it might work. Anyone know what original decal set was and source??? Dealer has proved worthless on both of these questions. They say never was a white Super A despite the fact that is what is on top of the sheet metal, under the hood etc. etc. etc. One more question-is there anyplace we can track the s/n to see who sold unit etc. Has been in family since original purchase but don't know dealer.
