Bob: Every so often there is a question about how soon an engine should be worked after an overhaul. I'll guess most would agree 5 hours is almost too much to NOT have worked it some by now. Working it adds temp and pressure to help seat those rings. So yes, work it some to get temp up and then back off a bit for a while and then repeat. Check archives for prior replys. I'll guess this is a typical responce. John Q.
