I have posted several messages about this tractor already. I am getting closer, but still no cigar. I just bought a C and I just can't get it to run right. When ever the govenor starts to open up it starts to cut out. It still has the original mag. I am wondering if it is in my ignition? How do I hook it up to a coil to see if it will make a difference? I have worked on the carb till I am pretty confident it is not it, unless the jet in the bottom of the carb is bad. It looks like the tractor might have set for some time in its life, the sheet metal is pitted pretty bad. I do not have any history on the tractor so I don't know if it has been runng good or not, prior to bringing her home. Does anybody have any other ideas? Am I overlooking something? I need to get her running so that I can get some work done.
