I have a 10K 16 foot flatbed with brakes on both axles that I pull behind a 98 Chevy 2500 with a 454 and a 4.10 rear end and the automatic overdrive transmission. I have hauled 2 different H's over 700 miles each with no problems - one of the H's had loaded tires, which made the balance a little tricky. Most of the time I was able to pull in overdrive with no problems. I did have to set the wheels in almost all the way to get the tractor loaded inside the trailer fenders. I wouldn't feel comfortable hauling that much weight with a smaller trailer or without brakes on all four wheels. FM
