I don't have the parts cd here right now to verify it, but as far as I know, the gasoline manifolds are all the same. Distilate manifolds are a little different I think, but they should still be interchangable.
I put a new manifold on a '40 B last year (same engine as your A) that I got from a Case/IH dealer and it bolted right up, no problems.
Where did you get your manifold from?
