There is a hole on the right side of the flywheel housing (magneto side) at about the 4 oclock position as seen from the rear. There are marks on the flywheel that can be seen through this hole. The marks on the flywheel may be hard to read due to grease/grime, so use a bright light. This is the large round casting that bolts directly to the block. The clutch housing bolts to the back of the flywheel housing.
