Inside the final drive housings there is a domed cover on each side. (unless you have a gear to drive a fert. dist. or planter)Under the cover is a bolt that holds the axel. Drop the pans on the final drive and put a piece of plywood under the gear, be ready to catch it when it falls. Note which is the inside of the gear, it will go back both ways but only work the right way. The felt seal ring in the outer axle cover is a pain in the neck to put back in. Good luck. Daniel.
