Since the fenders used on C's and M's mount totally differently it will be an excersize to put the C fenders on the M.

I would suggest that you not try to use the U bolt mounting but instead fabricate base plates like the M fenders would normally use and bolt the C fenders to them.

The same fenders fit both the H and M and are much easier to find than the fenders that fit the C. You shouldn't have any trouble swaping your C fenders for M fenders outright, maybe even some boot.
