I have a friend that has a 1929 22-36 that has been restored and is complete, his dad just bought a 15-30 of unknown vintage. there are some stark differences in these two tractors and am hoping we can get some information on the 15-30.... Engine: no water pump, must use thermo syphon as hoses are quite large. engine block different altoghter, has a sheet metal cover just below the head, is this a valve in block style motor? is the cover for valve adjustment? crank shaft access cover has a breather in it. has a flat belt running the fan. Tranny: instead of the single cast cover this 15-30 has a smaller cover where the gear shift is and has the 1-2-3-R cast into it. Others: there is no saw tooth edge style of governor control rod. the family it was purchased from had said something about the head being "English" could this have been and export tractor that made it's way back or was never sent out? thank you for your time, Brian W.
