Hi to everyone. I have what I thought was a Super A, thanks to the help of the people in this forum. Over the weekend I purchased a book on Farmall letter series tractors. By looking at pictures in the book, the tractor may be an AV. I thought the wheels on my tractor looked to big to be an A. The AV had wheels about 5" larger than the A. But, the front wheels in the picture don't match mine. The number I found under the first sparkplug says it is a Super A. None of the AV serial numbers are close. Also I can't find any letter markings as of yet, such as FAA, FAAV, etc. My hope was to restore this tractor correctly, but I'm having trouble just getting out of the starting gate. Any thoughts or comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Bob.
