As Haas mentioned, IH's standard and industrial tractors were usally called INTERNATIONAL, and the Row-Crops were called FARMALL. The early 140 Row-Crop's would have only said Farmall on them. In the late '60's, IH went to a naming system having a metal emblem or decal across the sides of the hood saying "INTERNATIONAL", on all of it's tractors, and a smaller emblem/decal usally on the radiator side panels that read the tractor's model number, and if the tractor was a Row-Crop, it would also read "FARMALL", above or below the model number.

Hope I helped to clear up any confusion on IH's naming system.
