The front and rear (upper and lower) castings that the steering shaft runs through are worn as is the steering shaft itself. The shafts can be replaced, but will still be loose in the castings. I would like to use bushings if I can find something that will work. The upper bushing is listed separately in the parts book (it comes out of the casting, there is no bushing in the lower casting). How hard is it to remove? I doubt if new castings are available, used are likely to be worn also. Anyone have any ideas?
