Cultivated many acres with a BN with two row cultivater. The lift made a lot easier. Had to replace the rubber seal just about every year. Biggest trouble is engine had to be reved up to work right, and if you was going through corn or soybeans the first time at an idle you had to rev up at the ends to raise the cultivater.
But it was a lot easier then the M with a 2 row cultivater. This was about 50 yrs ago!!!
