Glad I was able to help, seeing as how my memory was fuzzy on this. Over the years I had 4 plows with Super Chief bottoms, so memory should have been better. I had the 510 semi-mount and 3 No.60 a 3 furrow and 2 - 4 furrow. all 16" bottoms. I wouldn't have known reason on the left hand thread had it not been for having used the wrong ones. If the bolt is wrong they will not stay tight. I remember calling dealer on this problem. They had just sold their first roll over plow and IH rep made sure they had some right hand thread bolts in stock. I guess all parts staff were not told. I will tell you, the day this happened a clergyman could have been educated in my back 40.
