I'm with you Geoff, I don't care who sets the price and it doesn't have to be a genuine IH bolt cap lock that is too much money for what it actually is. A skilled machinist needs neither a print nor a QC guy on his back to reproduce a part like that with an old one in hand. I have material on in my machine shop to make them and I could bang a dozen out in an hour with a drill press and a chop saw, deburred and ready to go without breaking a sweat. I respect that the manufacturers need a profit, but it is out of hand on some items, no matter what color the tractor is.
