Whoever told you they converted to 6v because of overheating is full of bunk, thats just numb. Anyhow, I think the Cub is an exception to the "originality makes a more valuable tractor" idea. Most Cubs today spend their days plugging along mowing grass, so any addons or updates that make it easier to mow grass would increase the value of that tractor, but only to somebody who wanted it for mowing grass. The same would go for cultivation parts when talking about somebody who wanted to keep a big garden. So, realizing that most yuppies don't know doodly about tractors the 12v would probably increase the resale value to your average yuppie estate owner...
