Farmall A block

I just started work on a 1945 "IA". The engine is stuck so I decided to pull the head and have a look. The outside of the block has no visible cracks so I was hoping it would be savagable. After removing the head I found the deck of the block to be cracked from the water jacket holes to the cylinder sleeves. Looking at it I don't think it will cause a problem. The engine was full of coolant and didn't appear to have any in the oil. Has anyone run into this problem before? Any info would be helpful. Thank You for any returns. Dan
