There may be no record of how many were built. I have spoken to people that say the records were destroyed by Navistar for fear of "liability". I still cannot figure that one out. I would guess your best bet for finding body parts for any LP will be in the bone yards of West Texas or OK. I have spoken to several around the country that do not see many LP, they seem to be everywhere here. Email and I will give you some yard numbers if you want.
